Looking for a responsible couple with a "4x4 vehicle" (do not apply if you do not have a 4x4 vehicle please) to house sit our 2800 sq. ft.custom adobe home in the mountains. An hour from the beach, or half an hour from 10,000 feet up! We are located 6.5 hours south of San Diego or 3.5 hours south of Ensenada on the beautiful Baja peninsula. It is currently for sale but we expect it take some time to sell as it is a specialized property. It is a remote location, your closest neighbor is 12 km away, perfect for writers, or nature photographers, or anyone who can work from home via satellite internet, no electric, phone or water bills at all, experience a solar powered home! It is a nature lovers paradise. Bring your own pets as well. Pepita loves other dogs! 4x4 vehicle is required, last 4 miles of road are baja rough! we have no loaner vehicle. Responsibilities include keeping the house and gardens around the house tidy, some mowing. Handyman takes care of fruit trees and other maintenance but some skills are needed when the handyman is not there, some plumbing/electrical as well as driving a tractor and operating a chainsaw for any emergencies.
