Assignment Description:

We live at the Central MIAMI area -- a modest house, nothing fancy. Looking for a FREE house sitter for 2 weeks ( Dec 24 to Jan 8 ). We can only screen INDIVIDUAL applicants ( no couples, no kids, no pets [a small or med.-size dog is fine] ) because the room we have for you can fit only one person-- and the bed is a couch. We have an un-neutered medium-size beagle dog (boy) to keep you company.

For the safety of both parties, we will eventually request ID verification from you, and we will also give ours. Please do not send them yet, until we ask for them. FYI, we will also send this same solicitation to other house sitters, in case you cannot accept this offer... But please send us a reply as soon as you can (especially if it is negative) so that we can make plans.

ABOUT THE ROOM == We will not issue pictures of our house or the studio room for security reasons. However, we can fully describe it here: The small studio (efficiency) room is separate from the main house, and it is actually my wife\'s personal room / office, where she works up to late hours everyday. The room size is 9ft X 15 ft, and it has a private toilet-shower ; it has one window, and a separate door entrance. Furnished with a sleeper couch, small fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, desk, chair, clock, dresser, heater/A-C, halogen light, TV and radio. We have wi-fi connection and Netflix.

This is the ONLY room you have to deal with --do not worry about the main house. You will NOT be doing any house cleaning here, NOR take the trash bin to the curb. Also, we will leave as much ready-to-eat foods for you, so no cooking either. If you really, really want to cook, you may do so in the patio kitchen outside -- but why? Here is the time for you to tour Miami for 2 weeks (at daytime), or enjoy an alone-quiet time.

We don't even want you to walk our dog --because he might attempt to escape from you that way. In fact, all we want from you is to WATCH HIM like a hawk-- do not let him OUTSMART you, especially every time you get in and out of the gate. This dog is an escape artist, but we love him like a human son (we have none).

IDEALLY, you should fly here to Miami, or arrive by bus -- instead of bringing a car. The parking is very expensive. Get a city bus pass instead (use the same pass for the metro rail)-- the bus stop and metro rail station are located one block and 2 blocks (respectively) from our house. Just don't come home very late at night-- and always be watchful while walking. Do not carry a purse. If you need to carry food and water while touring (to save $$), put those in plastic grocery bags.
