Cross country skiing. Long walks along the shore of Lake Michigan. Cozying up in front of a roaring fire. Cuddling our two Maine Coon cats (one of which is shown here in one of his funnier poses.) Exploring the Northwestern University just a walk away. Hopping the "el" to downtown Chicago (unless you have your own transportation.) Walking to local coffee shops, restaurants, and clothing boutiques. Enjoying movies at any number of local theaters. Wandering our home that some have described as a mini museum with African, Mexican and folk art.

Responsibilities include: * Caring for our beloved cats * Watering plants * Tidying up the house between every-other-week cleaning woman * Ah, yes, snow shoveling, as necessary * Starting our cars kept in garage every week
All utilities covered. Food is on you. We Skype with all potential sitters. And we expect you to arrive the day before we leave so we can go over the ropes, introduce you to Augie and Zuni.
