We are seeking someone to "sit" our 3-year old, 4 bedroom smoke-free, shoeless home while my husband and I are travelling this spring. The house is on a small lot and requires little - 2-3 indoor plants and a few potted plants outdoors will need water. If weather turns hot and dry plantings may also require watering. Bird/squirrel feeders will need to be filled. My 89-year old mother who lives with us in the house andoften accompanies us on trips will be staying in the house and does some of these chores. Although she is quite self-sufficient, the house is more than she can handle on her own for this extended period of time. She has reduced vision due to macular degeneration and no longer drives. She would require occasional transportation to shopping and assistance preparing an evening meal to share. Companionship on a neighborhood walk or for a lunch/dinner out would also be welcome.. |
