Hello~ We are looking for a house/dog sitter who will take care of our dog and mow the lawn twice and water flowers during the time we are gone. We live on a small lake in Southeastern Michigan. You would have use of a small pontoon paddle boat and kayak. Lovely sunsets! Our dog is older so has trouble with the steps so we are either looking for a single person who will stay on the first floor with him (have single bed on 1st floor) OR if a couple sits then one person must be capable of carrying the dog up the stairs in the evening (small, 20 lb dog). Our dog generally sleeps in the bed with us, but at the end of the bed and is not a nuisance. We would want our dog to be taken on a short walk 2x/per day. This is a very nice, quiet setting close to a cute downtown area with a lot of shops and restaurants. The weekend of July 4th there will be a lot of activity around the lake including some amazing fireworks! We will want to meet with the sitter prior to our trip so the person should most likely live in Southeastern Michigan. This is a non-paid assignment as we are exchanging the use of a lakefront house for your house/dog sitting services. Thank you! |
