Location:   Westminster, California

Assignment Description:

My name is Richard Price. My husband and I live in Westminster, but we own an apartment in Paris and we often travel out of the country to Paris and on cruises for long periods of time (from one to four months at a time). We are looking for someone to be a house-watcher while we are gone.

Basically, we would like someone to come to our house once a week and do the following:

• Throw away any newspapers or fliers on the front porch or on the driveway.
• Check for any items that have been delivered and left on the front porch.
• Go through our mail and throw away any obvious advertisements or junk mail.
• Make sure no electric device is malfunctioning, (i.e., make sure the smoke alarm is working OK, alarm clocks are not buzzing, etc.)
• Flush the toilets and run the faucets for a few minutes.
• Water the lawn (front & back) with the garden hose. (We will have our sprinklers turned off while we are gone.)
